The annual White Coat Ceremony is a rite of passage that welcomes incoming students to Vanderbilt University School of Medicine and ingrains essential qualities for future physicians.

By offering uplifting words and supporting the White Coat Ceremony, alumni, faculty, family and peers have a distinct and lasting impact on students at the beginning of their medical journey. The students are deeply appreciative of and excited for this moving experience... and the donning of their white coats for the very first time.

We invite you to make a gift below and share a note of encouragement on the following page. Thank you in advance from the excited, grateful future physician who will proudly wear their VUSM White Coat!

For giving questions, please call (800) 288-0082 (8 a.m. – 5 p.m., Central Time, Monday – Friday) or email vusmgiving@vanderbilt.edu. Messages need to be received by June 30.
